UFBA campus

The UFBA campus includes three campuses. Its main campus is in Salvador, but there are two others, located in Camaçari and Curitiba. The UFBA campus is located in a 600-hectare native forest. It was founded in 1808. It is the first university in Brazil and was formerly known as the School of Surgery of Bahia. 

Later it was called Faculty of Medicine of Bahia. The UFBA campus is located in Canela. The university offers courses in Administration, Architecture, Performing and Visual Arts.

UFBA has two campuses. Campus Cabula is the main campus of the city of Brotas and the rural campus. The Cabula campus houses three buildings, including a chapel and an auditorium.
